JM Family Enterprises and Toyota Dealers in the Southeast Donate $750,000 to Japan Relief Efforts

PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 31, 2011– Deerfield Beach, Fla. – Colin Brown, President and CEO of diversified automotive company JM Family Enterprises, Inc., announced a $750, chevrolet 000 donation to the American Red Cross to support humanitarian relief efforts in Japan fo dodge llowing its recent earthquake and tsunami. The gift includes $115,234 donated by JM Family associates, $237,800 from independent Toyota dealers in the southeast United States, and a significant corporate gift plus dollar-for-dollar associate match of nearly $400,000.

"Through our collective donation to the American Red Cross, we can help provide the emergency care and resources to the hundreds of thousands of residents corsa struggling to rebuild their communities after this tragedy," said Brown.  "We can always count on our associates and Southeast Toyota dealers to respond in times of crisis, and I am confident the Red Cross has the network of volunteers and disaster relief specialists to establish the foundation for a long-term recovery."

JM Family and subsidiary Southeast Toyota Distributors are close partners to Toyota in the U.S. and Japan – dating back to 1968 when the company's founder Jim M rc helicopter and car market place oran signed an agreement with Toyota Motor Corporation to serve the five southeastern states.  Today, the company is the world's largest independent distributor of Toyota vehicles, parts and accessories serving 173 independent dealers.
