A thing of beauty.
Stopped by Wes' today and despite the profanities spewing from his mouth at V-Twin, I observed this thing of beauty pushed over into the corner. There sat this 1950 Triumph cut down. It belongs(ed) to Wing Nut Brian and made the trip down from Oregon to a customer here in So Cal. This bike is a thing of beauty. It appears to be an original cut down from back in the 50s. I'm assuming the front fender from a 2 stroker was a later add on due to pesky fender laws. There's just the right amount of crust on this old girl. Pretty much everything not on the bike is in a box on the other side of the shop. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the paint is pretty cool. There's even a little pinstriping on the lower legs. Red with just a little touch of white. Very classy. She is most definitely a looker. Not cute like a puppy, but beautiful like a true lady should be. I kinda hope the sale falls through and I can tell Brian that in order to be a full fledged Wing Nut he has to donate the bike to......well me.
