CS1 Reassembly
This CS1 will forever be a Bitza; the frame is 1931, engine 1932. The replica oiltank was made for an older frame and did not fit because it is too high; an evening of cutting and welding solved that problem. An original gearbox came with the machine but it has some parts missing. The WD16H item was dismantled and treated to new bearings and will be used untill the parts for the original box have been sourced. The front forks should be narrow on this machine; again a problem that could be solved using an angle-grinder and a MIG welder, though I needed expert help to fit bushes for the forkspindle in the hole that by now had the shape of a banana.
